Hunter Extreme
I got a season under my belt with the Gamo Hunter Extreme, this uber magnum is a serious sledge hammer!
The Big Game Trophy Wall
A new feature on American Airgun Hunter will be the Big Game Trophy Wall, where pictures and descriptions of the guns used will be presented. Every one is welcome to submit their photos, and the guidelines are straight forward. The animal has to be legal in the jurisdiction where taken, and the gun used has to be an appropriate caliber and power output ( PCP guns only, .308 caliber and larger). Types of game include deer, feral hogs, rams and other exotics.          WILL POST BY JANUARY 18th
Missouri Deer Hunt
Getting down for the second airgun season in Missouri, I had a short trip, but a great one! The 909s was hitting hard!
Predator Hunting Gallery
I'll be putting together a Predator Hunting Gallery as well, and am putting a call out for your predator hunting picutres as well. Same guidelines, the right gun and keep it legal. A bit more latitude here with respect to guns, smaller calibers at reasonable ranges will be accepted.

Just got back from my yearly airgunning trip to the Eastern Cape. This year I brought Crosmans Marauders in .177 and .22 and a Discovery in .177. The guns worked great and in this article I'll relate our experiences!
My Best Pigeon Hunt Ever!!
I had the chance to hunt pigeons for a few days while at the Eastern Cape, and saw hundreds of birds - fast shooting and great eating!

Disclosure: In the course of my shooting and hunting activities, I receive loan guns from manufacturers and distributors to evaluate. There is no pre-existing agreement that I will write about a gun, but my policy is that if I don't like a gun I won't write about it but will give constructive feedback. In this way I continue to have the opportunity to try new guns, to make a positive impact on this sport, and gain more experience with varied technologies. I will sometimes buy a gun if I want to add it to my collection; I will typically pay full price, sometimes I will receive a discount. This is never contingent on a review, however any reader of my reviews and stories is hereby informed. But more to the point, and as I state on my review page; these reviews and result are my opinions and my experience,. It is  important  that you make up your own mind, think about how you want to use a gun, what type of gun you like, what you want to pay for it, etc ...... make an informed decision and enjoy the sport! The velocity measurements and posted group sizes presented are quantitative, every thing else is subjective and you might reach a different conclusion.
