The American Airgun Hunter in South Africa
Springbok taken with the DAQ .50 caliber.
The jackrabbit above was taken with my XS-B50 PCP. The gun puts out a .177 8gr pellet at about 1000 fps. I shot this desert hare at 56 yards.

James (right) took this jackrabbit with the Beeman C1 in .22, after a long slow stalk to get into range. He stalked into about 30 yards and fired standing offhand.
Really got into the squirrel hunting this season. Had a chance to hunt in several states with a numberof different gun. I also had the opprtunity to hunt with and interview a number of very experienced hunters that have made Mr. Bushytail their primary quarry. This will be the subject of my next book!
My brother and I used a pair of DAQ .25 conversions to limit out on cottontails (left).
Three Jackrabbits taken with my lightly modified (Valves, trigger, grips) Crosman 2240. We were hunting the Mojave Desert in Nevada, and shot these bunnies at 15 to 25 yards.
Starlings are fair game when I stumble across them. The Crosman 2240 is a great fun gun for this type of shooting.
This bushytail was raiding the bird feeder, which resulted in the birds becoming very noisey. Bad idea at 6:00 Saturday morning - I wanted to sleep!
